ON THE WATER
Lake Como is about 3 miles long and 1 mile wide. The average water depth is 9-10 feet.

These conditions make it an excellent FISHING lake, well stocked with
Bass and Northern Pike.
The lake is also great for BOATING, SKIING, TUBING ETC. Because of the low traffic
on Lake Como - both fishermen and boaters can enjoy the lake equally.
We have one PONTOON BOAT that we rent out.
Some of the local bait shops also rent boats etc:
SWIMMING - About an 1/8 of a mile down the road there is a sandy beach
area with a roped in swimming area. There is also a small playground. The rest
of the northern shoreline is set up as a little parkland (grass & trees). It's nice for
a walk or picnic.
Lake Como has 3 public BOAT LAUNCHES the closest one is less than a 1/4 mile away.
